TEAM TANNER 424
As many of you know, 2012 wasn't the best year for Tanner. Among other injuries, Tanner was left with a tramatic brain injury (TBI) from a dirt bike accident. Because of his accident, he spent days in a coma at Via Christi, followed by months of recovery at Craig Hospital.
This occured years before I met Tanner and I know I will never be able to fathom the emotions his family and friends encountered during this experience. But, what I do know, is how truly grateful I am for all of the doctors, therapists, and staff at Craig that not only saved Tanner's life, but through rehabilitation were able to give him his life back - a life I am so blessed and thankful to be a part of.
I've decided to surprise him with a donation to the Culture of Care Fund at Craig Hospital for his birthday (April 24).
